Skyline is giving up better rides now than in December

Postby windzup » Thu May 12, 2005 9:14 am

Riders were up at Skyline all weekend, including some friends from Montana. Despite the white out most of the time, Skyline did give up some epic sunny sessions revealing the fresh new snow. On Saturday there was 17 inches of fresh pow. Add Sun-Wed and today could be unimaginable.

Forecast is for possibility of snow up there today, then clearing out with 18mph West winds.

I hit up Rush the other day, but I'm packing in my wetsuit and the choppy water and heading back up to the smooth pow. Can you say buutttteerrr?

This coming weekend will likely be better than the entire last 7 months of epic riding at Skyline, with its deepest base yet.

I will let ya'll know tonight how the conditions really are, hope I'm not wrong!

Conditions are deep, heavy powder - probably dropped 18" over the past 24 hours.
