Races at Skyline - pre-run for the OSKM

Postby windzup » Thu Feb 01, 2007 10:33 am

Hey Yall,

This weekend will be Kitercross/Winduro racing at Skyline in preparation for the upcoming Snowkite Masters.

Some of the bay area crew including race organizers and competitors from the Wednesday night series will be on hand to help keep the stoke high.

The wind is looking good for the weekend with a little bit of fresh cover for Saturdays circuit.

This is an un-official format so just show up..but feel free to call Windzup for more details if you like.

Word on the street is that more riders will be joining us from Colorado as well... so it would be great to rally up the Utah locals to represent... show the out of staters that we know our terrain better... besides...water racing is nothing like snow racing... so the locals should have an advantage!

Whats that old saying...oh yeah... BE THERE or BE SQUARE.

And for the water kiters..the new Ozone Instinct range has arrived, so we will be offering test runs on the Lights, Sports and Edge kites. Many of the racers have already put dibs on running the edge in the races...but there will be plenty of opportunity to see what all the buzz is about on these amazing new wings.

After flying the Edge,,
with its amazing speed.
I would put money on
who ever the rider on the Edge is,
winning the race....

I have my new Sport (one-pump)
I can't wait to fly it.....

Sounds like a lot of folks will be at the Line between Friday and Sunday. Saturday is the planned racing with the other days open for anything fun.

Wind is looking good, with the strongest part passing along Friday morning... and staying in the teens from the west all weekend.

Sounds fun as hell. I'll be race ready sat. morning. I imagine the skiers and boarders will be thrown in together?
