Pelican marina

Is there room to launch kites at Pelican Marina. We are losing our launch spots due to the rising water.

When I was at Pelican last week Jason was there looking for places to launch a kite. I would contact him to see what he found. I recall he thought it could be done off the jetty but it wasn't ideal.

yes, i was there and it doesn't look good. especially if you are solo. south of the jetty is doable. you would have to trudge through reeds for about 15 ft., but there are no obstacles down wind. booties would be mandatory. coming in would require grabbing your o-shit loop near shore. a floating sidewalk type dock thing would be really cool ?? any impressions ??
