New Weather sensor Skyline area??

Postby mike rossberg » Sun Dec 09, 2007 2:14 pm

I was browsing the avalanche center web site and came across this photo of a new sensor going in on Geyser Pass. I'm not familiar with area to recognize it. Here is a link to page and photo. Does any know how far this is from skyline?

interesting. An avy forcaster at the skyline workshop gave a presentation. He mentioned he uses the Seeley gage for getting wind info for the wastatch plateau. I think he said this would be pretty good for skyline and better than the skyline gage cause of the wind shadow. Marty think this is it?
