Lindon beach report

I went out to check it out after work. They have trucked in lots of nice sand and made a nice parking lot.
Looks like it will be great this year for launching a kite.The only thing that could be good or bad is the 2 covered picnic tables.
They seem like they could get in the way but not to bad. If the pics on my phone turn out I will post them.

Thanks for reporting. I went by there Saturday to see what the beach conditions were like. I have to say I am excited to see the county take control of that place. There is now a shore line paved trail with a double guard rail between it and the road. People will have a very difficult time dumping trash on the beach now, because they have blocked all the road access down to the lake. On the opposite side of the road the cleared/graded a dirt parking lot.

This will make it tough to get gear down to the water but still easier than jumping off a cliff into trash. If I remember right there is an easier way of getting down the ledge now, as well.

Hopefully some of that trash was cleaned out of the water too.
