Where to Ride 4/11

Postby Craig Goudie » Fri Apr 11, 2008 9:03 am

Snow Kiters will probably be very pleased at Skyline today, but this is the liquid rider forecast, so
Rush looks promising from Noon on with the peak about 3 PM looks for 12-15M Kite conditions
on a pretty steady North wind. Ul launches also look steady, but lighter. I'm guessing 7.5 to 8.5 Sails
and wide wide boards at Saratoga Springs Park again Noon to dusk with the peak about 3 PM. Lindon
may be a little lighter but still Kiteable, just take your big Kites. Plus a balmy 50 degrees around 3 PM.

Tomorrow looks like Rush for Kiters and DC for Windsurfers.

Sunday still looking very good for a Spring opener at DC.

It was the single best day of the year at skyline, several feet since last weekend, blown every where. Sunshine warm and dry in light fluffy powder. Strong North wind. In just two days new drifts several feet thick formed. F&%%&ing unreal.

Don't worry, it will all melt some day and you can ride it in a couple more months when it makes its way down the tributaries.

Woops. I thought this was the snowmobile forum... sorry! Ha.
