Today may be the last 'good' forecast for snowkiting in Utah. We were up at Skyline yesterday, and while the snow banks have thinned out and the snow is getting dirty, there is still plenty of base and plenty of hill covered with snow to play on. At least until another heat wave or rain takes it down.

In the meantime, Skyline has had good northerly winds the last two days and full moon riding options. Forecast is calling for more wind there today. And I assume the moon will still be pretty full.

Interesting weekend in the Wasatch Plateau, I saw every form of recreator... from kiters to slednecks to ATV'ers to motor boats to ice fishing to fly fishing the river to rock climbers and kayakers... all within 20 miles of eachother in the same hills... funny place this Utah... May is for Mania! Oh yeah, and we saw a big brown bear at mile 5 on Fairview Canyon hwy just below the snow line.

The word from Central Utah.
