Utah Summer Game Kite and Windsurf June 20-21 DC Islandbeach

We are thinking about moving the kite event to Deer Creek Island Beach. Island Beach has huge beach area now because the lake is very low. Enough room to launch and land your kite. A lot friendly area then sailboat beach. So, I looked as the past post about the problem with the last year event. So, I thought by moving it down to Island beach since it alot safer there.

I'm thinking of doing a downwind slalom race multi heats with 4 or 6 people on start line and possible a Big Air show at the end. One other guy and I will be in charge with the race and Big Air.

Would you guys be interesting coming to the event?

IB is for sure usable. Without a doubt it would be the safest place to launch and land kites from.

I am not in for the contest, or race. Just not my vibe right now. Plus DC can be such a fickle bitch I worry about saftey a bit.

The purpose for this event is to get together and talk tech. Also, show the audience what's kiteboarding all about.

I'm working on getting some prizes and stuff to give away.
