I got an e-mail from XL kites, thought some of you guys might be interested in checking this out

Texas-South Padre Island - Kite Party!
XLKITES-SPI is holding a kite party at the shop with the Slingshot R&D guys. Tony Logosz & John Doyle will be present along with Mark Doyle and Jason Morrison from Slingshot to talk with Kiteboarders and answer questions. It will also be a great time to just hang out with the guys who design the gear you ride.. There will be a BBQ with free food and a large projection screen playing kite vids. This event will be held at the shop on Nov. 8th 5-9pm.
