Where to Ride 8/13

Light but planable winds at most locations today. AM rides at DC for
windsurfers (yes this is a little strange), but I figure SW 8.5 material till
about 2 PM. Sulfur will also get some W 8.5 in the early evening. Kite
boarders should enjoy pretty steady N winds at Rush beginning in the
Afternoon and lasting most of the evening. Take your big kites, but
be prepared for some 18 M stuff if you're lucky. And, ULSSB should
have a tastey dinner sesh for the kite board crowd, maybe even enough
wind for a windsurfer or 2.

If you're going this weekend, get it today, tomorrow looks less windy,
and by Tuesday it's back to the humid windless stagnation.
