Correction... Rob is flying the new 3 strut version of the current Instinct Lite. Torrin is flying the C4.

Ozone's looking for a new name to compliment a new design shape for the Lite... any thoughts??? Its a surf/wave kite that is killer all around... they were ready to label it the FUZE, but there are rumors that the name is already in production with another 2010 kite brand.

Here are my three picks for a name. I like Trident if it has 3 struts.
Poseidon
Neptune
Trident
Poseidon, as well as being god of the sea, was also known as the "Earth Shaker" when he struck the earth in anger he caused mighty earthquakes and he used his trident to stir up tidal waves, tsunamis and sea storms. In Roman myth, Neptune also used a trident to create new bodies of water and cause earthquakes.

Brian,

Instinct 3 works for me. I think it is wise to dump the "lite" name.

Hey, I guess I missed the demo of your 17M lightwind kite. I would like to try it sometime.

Hey Kenny,
I'm glad IT-3 works for you...but, this would be Instinct round 5... and the 2009-2010 season will offer 4-5 different Ozone water kite models. Who knows what name will come to be for the new Lite...the Sport looks to be replaced by the 'O' Kite (C4 - bridled C style kite with bow style depower range).

Basically new names and newer shapes all around, so its a time-worthy change. Word from the factory is everything is ahead of schedule, so we may have all 2010 water kites to fly in Utah before snow hits..well maybe... snow comes early to this state.

Zephyr is in Oregon the last week getting great reviews... and as its the only Zephyr in country, it will be on its way to Florida shortly before returning to Utah later this month. By then, there will be production Zeph's available and we'll have plenty to fly around here. We'll get one in your hands soon!

In the meantime, I'm rounding up Zeph's and C-4's from around the globe for a demo in Hood River in a couple weeks. The industry is hosting an on water demo there instead of doing the Surf Expo in Florida this year.

I'll keep info posted here on my favorite forum.. (its local of course!)
