Some not-so-great advice in there: "You don’t actually have to pay for a lesson to start kiting if you are a visual learner. Simply rent or buy an intro DVD and a trainer kite for around $100. It’s perfectly safe to “do-it-yourself” "

They also plugged richardson's as a location to go, which last i heard, was not strictly legal.

The media in Utah is really horrible. Can someone please tell the folks at Cloud 9 not to sell people any kites unless they have a lesson? Someone recently inquired about a big kite I have for sale and I ask if he had taken any lesson he said he had not. He had only tried the trainer kite his friend has and think it would be fine to get a huge kite so that he can move fast. I refuse to sell it to him unless he knew enough about kite controls. I think it is important that we get the right message out!

I sure cloud9 and steve ment you can get a trainer and "get into kiting" with a DVD for the trainer, not how to kite... Or thy would help you fly the trainer kite they bought while they are doing payed lesson with students.
