Utah Summer Games - July 10th 2010

Utah Summer Games
Standup Paddle Board, Kiteboard, Windsurf, and small Sailboat racing
July 10th 2010
Sailboat Beach, Deer Creek Res. Utah

Events
Standup Paddle Board: (9 AM Race Start Time)
- 1 mile sprint
- 2.5 mile distance

Kiteboard, Windsurf, Sailboats: (11:30 AM Race Start Time)
- course racing with mulitple heats

All Events will have mens, and womens divisions.
Depending on number of participants divisions will be broken into novice, age group, and open classes.
Many medals will be rewarded.

Registration
Register before July 8th -
$20 for single event
$25 for multiple events

Online Registration until Wednesday noon July 9th 2010
All participants must check in / register at sailboat beach the day of the event.

Deer Creek Res, Utah
Registration - Sailboat Beach
StandUp Paddle Board - Sailboat Beach
Windsurfing - Sailboat Beach
Kiteboarding - Barbwire Beach
Sailboats - Sailboat Beach

Parking
Due to the number of participants expected we ask that participants drop off their gear at the beach and then park in the overflow parking area.

The Deer Creek park ranger has postponed the event due to weather.

The new date is July 10th 2010.

Josh,

Have fun at the Games... I'll have my cell on me?!?! But that doesn't mean there is reception everywhere you go on Lake Powell.

To anybody curious about this event. It's a lot of fun. You'll meet a ton of people who are ready for serious competition and get a kick out of the sailboat racers as well... Hopefully we'll get good weather... It's looking ok so far... Still too early to tell, but the long term is looking positive...
