DC ice situation

I'm guessing Kody was looking at IB or SBB (see reply to Craig's wind forecast) because there is WAY more than 50m of open water at the North end of DC, more like 3000m. In fact, the lake is ice free all the way from the back side of the Island to the North end of the lake. Most importantly, both Barbed Wire and Chucktown are totally ice free.
