Lake Mead

I will be spending the weekend and next week at Lake Mead just outside of Henderson. Can you sail out of there? Does any wind direction work?

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.

Stuart's point. Primative camping just outside of Overton. North or South winds
work, if you can get them.

Glad to hear Lake Mead can be good for kiting. I grew up down there and worked on the marina as summer job. This was long before kiting was even a sport but I hope to hit the lake this year as well on one of my trips down there. I remember on the lake mornings were glass and thermals would kick up in afternoon....
