So the second snow hits...now now now  We will have these decks available to test ride for everyone. I want everyone to make their own thoughts on the feelings the board gives them...and to give Rob and I their honest feedback so we can continue to progress Twisted as a rider born board.

It is true, Like Ozone, Lib Tech has realized and adopted a design ideal that they feel better suits themselves (snowkiters & snowboarders respectively - for Ozone a dedicated Snowkite with everything a winter warrior wants, and for Lib it was a snowboard inspired by decade old technology that was not born from the ski industry)... and with their determination to follow their passion for 'non-ski-inspired technology' they have inspired many leading companies to adopt reverse/posi/camber designs. Check out http://www.reversecamber.com and you'll notice that Twisted is among the ranks of Burton & K2 in releasing more dedicated shapes to this design for the 2009 season. It is not an end all,it is one small step for snowboarders... but one giant leap for Snowkite KIND! Here's to Rob for seeing an opportunity to adapt newly inspired, yet old technology, to re-invent the Snowkite board.

More to come soon, along with the official TWISTEDKiteBoards.com website. Made in Utah for Mountain Snowkiters...I hope the rest of the world can adapt.

BTW - to clarify...while Rob is a founder and primary designer for Ozone, and was responsible for inspiring the first 'dedicated snowkite'....Twisted is Rob's independent side project...and his first dedicated Snowkite board... while not an Ozone product, it is built with as much confidence and quality...and backed by a one year warranty.

I like the rear enty bindings,
like K2 Cinch and Flow brand.

Can't comment on the Cinches (although I thought that Chastaman rides them).

But, I've got a set of the Flow NXT bindings, and they are nice. They've come a long way. Aluminum baseplate, slimmed-down top-strap, on-the fly adjustment, and solid feel. Reccommended, but I'll admit to fairly limited experience with bindings. I do get the sense that they are heavy compared to some. But, I never get a burning sensation at the contact points; you can ride them fairly loose and still maintain a good feel and edge control.

Oh, and if anyone's feeling charitable this winter, I'd love to take one of these badass boards for a spin!

Just ordered mine! By the way if anyone is interested in some clicker bindings and boots (10 1/2 0r 11) I think. I will sell both for $50 bucks. I always liked them for the resorts but like people have said not the best for kiting.
