Brian and I are going up on Thursday night to Idaho. See you in Montana this weekend!

Looks like a great event. Wish I knew about this sooner. I could have gotten together a group to go with. :/

Hey Heather and Brian, is there going to be snowkite master event in Skyline this year?

Rachel and I are talking about going. Is there any more information on the location?? How far from an actual town is it? Is there lodging anywhere besides the 2 places they mention on the site? I'd like more info on the area before heading up there as I'm not sure we'd want to van-camp on this one.

I was up there a couple weeks ago, the amount of riding area is absolutely insane. If the wind cooperates, you will love it.

Mountain Home is a good spot for a hotel. It is about 20 minutes from the closest riding area. You could also stay in Sun Valley if you want to spend the big bucks and driver further.

I wish I could go, but I have commitments at home.

Staying at the Prairie Inn.

Rode yesterday on 14 Nemesis HP at Mile 131 by the snowmobile parking lot. Epic session! Hit all the natural terrian feature. You got to come up here if you haven't been here before. It looks like Strawberry but bigger. Today, there was a light eastern wind but not enough get pulled around.

We are setting up the rails tomorrow for the Snowkite Soldier event. This event is going to be a lot people with people coming from all over, contest and great prizes.

I hope you guys can make it up for the event.

Today was another Epic day with 15-25mph wind from the west to NW wind. It blew all day from morning to dark. It's got pretty track out by the event site but there still a lot of untrack snow out there.

A lot of kiters today. There were at least 50 kites up in the air. I lost count. all my Mid sizes kite were all demo most of the days from 8m to 13m kites. Everybody had great big smile on there face after their session. A lot people from the Gorge and NW states. Everybody was AMAZE how awesome snowkiting is and the great terrian it has here.

I got the new Best 11.5m Kahoona kite in with the new Best bar set up called the RSS (Redline System Safety). You hook it on the leash ring. The redline pull both of the front lines to make it more depower and extremely less pull on the leash when you pull the safety or bring the kite down. A lot people were impress with Kahoona on how easy it was to relaunch and forgivnees it had for the beginner/intermediate rider to learn on. I will have the kite next weekend at the US Open Snowkite event for everybody to demo out.

Tomorrow looks good. Calling for NE and E wind which we will have to go to other kite spot. I forgot the name of it.
