3-10 strawbs anyone going?

anyone headed up to strawbs today? how are the roads after storms usually up there? anyone have an idea of forecasted winds ? weather.gov said 8-14, not sure which other sites are used..

If the wind is still looking good at around 10:00 or so I'll probably go. Based on the cam: http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/slc/camera/sing ... Summit.php
It looks like there's still snow on the highway and it's likely to be a bit slick so be careful.

looking like the wind has pretty much died out according to XC skies. think i'm going to pass on it for today

The winds are coming back up and forcasted for mid teens this afternoon. I think I'm going to give it a try. The rest of the week looks dead everywhere. That alone is motivation to try it!

Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about going back up to Strawberry. I had fun yesterday even though the winds weren't very consistent. I almost got snowed in because I stayed up there so long. The road was really bad, was driving like 25 mph or less back down last night so there should be tons of new powder.
