I guess any time you can get in the straps on your med size board and 6.5 sail that "It's a Counter" but it was a bit disappointing for the day. This day adds to the list of many, that we arrived to IB to see white caps all the way across and say wooo hooo. Then to park get out of your car and look again and say where did it go? Well it was enough for Jim to rig his 5.7 and go out and then myself and Linda rigged 6.5's and went out, and a few others. I guess we were thinking that it would fill in....well it didn't. I'd guess that I schlogged 85% of the time, but did get in the straps a couple of times for a couple of reaches. I did get some low wind tack practice as I challanged determined trolling fisermen for right of way. I guess I'm chicken!
At that point I should have rigged the formula gear, but I'm not even sure that it would have planned at that point, and I guess I was being lazy. I'm hoping for a few more weekends of sailing!

Sarah, What you describe @ DC is pretty much what we had at Jordenelle on Saturday. We all rigged 6ish and got a few rides & it was over. Just went totally flukey.
