I don't know anything about this kite other than the reviews that are online, but the price is cheap. Maybe that is a reflection of the kite? I don't know but thought I would share the link:

They were selling them on Steep and Cheap today which is the same company as backcountry. Backcountry is selling it with free shipping. I am curious to know what any of you think of this kite if you have had any experience with it.

Kyrk, this is the kite I am using right now. At this price, I think it is worth the money. The bar and lines alone would be worth more than $200. I am thinking about getting another one. This is no doubt a beginner's kite, however. If you want to do more with the kite, a better kite like Frenzy would be better.

Kiteforum.com has lots of reveiws of the ranger... I personally would use it as a nice sun shade, or perhaps it would make a nice wall hanging....

Not lots of depower or range... its a poor copy of a the first frenzys.....
