Somebody is going to have to sacrifice something!

I just don't get it.

My personal sacrifice for wind didn't work.

I had a dump bin in my yard for 2 weeks,
committing to major house clean out and yard work.

Didn't work

Started and finished building a retaining wall.

Didn't work

These type of projects have always worked in the past,
What do we need to do?????

I'll stay home and watch IDOL reruns. It worked this spring.

I think everyone should give up something that is near and dear to their being.

Marty,

You need a real sacrifice, not just jobs around the yard. Here is my suggestion:

1. Sell all your kites.
2. Shave your head and put on a robe
3. Join the Hare Krishnas

If that doesn't work, call me and we will find something more drastic ;))

Seriously, this weather pattern does need to end soon.

I think Spencer is a virgin? At least he should be if he is abiding the rules of his faith! We could sacrifice Billy's first born and sentence him to life as a windsurfer. That would be a sacrifice for sure! ha ha. I blame it on Billy for buying that dirt bike

BBB is already a kiter, he logged 4 or 5 session on snow with Christy, Of course if he want to windsurf I will support him.....thats his life style choice. Not mine... :)))

I will be selfless here and not kite the entire month of July as an offering to the wind gods...

I wonder if all of this rain has done much to affect the water level at Rush??? Typically, localized rain/snow makes a huge difference at Rush. Anybody been out there in the past couple of weeks?

Maybe our sacrifice of no kiting will equal decent kiting at Rush. It is probably just wishful thinking, but I am hoping for a few more mudboarding sessions before the puddle dries up.

TJ - I'm hoping for an August (late) comeback as well. PT starts on Monday. I'm supposed to be on crutches until July 22nd so it seemed like a good offering. Let me know when you make you debut. I want to be there!
