Try SUP in the waves

Postby John Dubock » Fri Jun 19, 2009 10:41 pm

Photo session last weekend with pro brother, 600mm lens, I've surfed for 30 years, I learned SUP in one hour, dominated my home break of Pitas Point, Mondos, Marys above Ventura, CA. Smooth ride, from Indicator to the sand, every wave. Crazy speed with a paddle, full exploration, signed autographs on the beach later, its like 1964 all over again....

I won't do it in flat water, and its a core workout, but if you have 99 ski days, play tennis you'll barely feel the burn. Its longboarding, take any wave you want.

John,

Look in the background on picts approx 7 - 12. Sure looks like a shark.

Wow! Not that the other frames are bad, but in the fourth from the last, you're really carving! Print that one and file the others. You look great!
