10/24 Greenland!!!

Postby jason morton » Sun Oct 25, 2009 12:01 pm

Flew over Greenland yesterday on my way back from Europe for work. First I look down and see a friggin iceberg! Within a minute we are flying directly over Greenland. What a sight. Beautiful and incredible. Looked like a snowkite mecca, which it is. Massive peaks with perfectly groomed snow covered valleys. Looked like the top of a delicious latte. Thought maybe I could see Brian and Heather down there getting an early season sess!

Nice Jason!

I wish that was us, likely it was Eric and his sister Sarah (the Mcnair-Landry kids) www.pittarak.com. For sure it was them if it was snowkiters you saw, as they fly Yakuza's on long long lines!!!

Isn't that amazing to watch from the window at 30,000 feet!, I have some video of it from my last trip to Euroland, I was day dreaming about gaping and riding and flying for hundreds of miles. The next best thing would be a trip to NE Canada at the edge of civilization.

For me, my early season session will be at Skyline preferably, or up north in MT/WY if they have the conditions first. I do need to get out, I have a few new proto board designs from Twisted I need to test... including some funky Billy B design hes been dreaming about. SHHHHH!! :)))

What were you doing flying over the drink? A day trip scouting new locations perhaps?
