How To Post Pictures #2 ???

Postby David Kyle » Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:13 am

Thanx Jason for raising this issue. I am able to post pictures off my "pictures" menu but I always have to crop my photos
for overall size and pixel density. A few days ago I was trying to post a pic of some kite damage and had to take several photos
and crop in order for it to post. Am I making this too complicated? Will photo bucket resize and fit my photos into the right format, or am I doing something wrong with my camera?

David, you are making it too complicated. For your profile photo, there is a size limit. If you want to show a damaged kite and uploading it to the post, size of the photo shouldn't be a problem. Of course, it would be nice to resize the photos or take the photos at a lower resolution.

Let me know if you need further help.

Photo bucket will resize them, and if you post from the website size isnt an issue. you can keep albums private or public. I use it personally because its so much less hassle then to upload to every site i want to post on then to just upload once and then throw in a code or link that photobucket will provide.. i'm sure there are other file hosting sites that work the same or better- i just never felt the need to look around or test them.
