Kenny's Where to Ride New Year's Day

Skyline looks like the best call today with wind in the mid to upper teens. Snow squalls may be an issue at times. PowMow looks like it will turn into a whiteout, but if you get there early you should get some rides in strong, 20+ mile per hour wind. Skyline and PowMow will have cut powder conditions. The snow at Skyline is deep. Yesterday was epic with 2+ feet of fresh in blown-in areas. Still plenty of powder left for today.

Saturday looks promising for Skyline and Strawberry in the afternoon with freshies and wind in the upper teens, some snow squalls may make the wind gusty and reduce visibility. PC East, Bluffdale, and Rush may also be rideable.

Sunday looks like light wind at Skyline and Strawberry.
