really short skis?

I'm curious if anybody has tried snowkiting with those really short skis? Salomon used to make some, and so did Line.

With my very limited snowkiting exp, its always been on regular length skis. Would be interesting to try it out.

Josh,

You are talking about snowkiting on something like snowblades. I used to have a pair and I would sometimes use them on frozen lakes or on hardpack.
Pros:
Easy to ride switch
multiple rotations are a cinch
Cons:
Less edge to resist against the kite so if you are lit it takes a lot of work to edge against the kite
Works your upper quads like crazy
Jumps look a bit goofy as the tendency is to wildly splay your legs apart.

They are fun, give'm a try if you have a pair around.

Right on. Yep, those are exactly what I was talking about. I don't have any snowblades, but I have a pair of Line Skiboards which are basically the same, just wider than the snowblades.

I'll have to bring them after I've logged a few more sessions.
