March 15 Strawb-Chicken Creek 15M

Postby mike rossberg » Wed Mar 15, 2006 9:53 pm

This was a made to order day. Bright blue sky, nice steady west wind at 16 mph, 6" of new snow. Jon and Jeff were on 12m Frenzys, Marty was on his 12 turbo D, and I was on my 15m Fuel. The wind was stronger early in the afternoon.

This was my first REALLY great day on the snow. Now I understand what all the hype is about. Kenny showed up around 3:30 and rode his big boy 25M.

I posted some quick shots in the Album. Go see what you missed!!

The old guy was Jon and our dirt bag friend Steve wasn't there. I wish I was wealthy. We're glad to take some rides for you. If it makes you feel any better, that was only my 3rd time snow kiting this year.

Later,

Mike

Les,
This winter I have snow kited 37 times as of today 3/16.
In that time there has been 19 weekends.
(11/16/05 was first snowkite day)
thats 38 weekend days.
Throw in a day off in the middle of the week.
It's not that hard to do.
Just need to be desparate enough to go where the wind is.
As we know from Pineview,
It even blows, when it sucks...

-Marty 8)
We did meet at Pineview.
and
I missed a good day today at Pow Mow,
because of work
