Josh,

I will give you my 100% guarantee that there will be wind on Saturday. I just can't guarantee where it will be!

Marty,

Hope you get wind. Let us know how the kiting is in the Soda Springs area.

I am hoping that it will be windy on the island of St. Martin on Saturday because that is where I will be. Wind is looking a little light that day, but I will have my big foil kite, so I should be okay.

I grew up in Grace, and have been going to Soda working once a month since '79.
I have been staying with a collage buddy up there for the last 20 years.
Windsurfing years ago, and now kiting. Nothing epic up there for sure.
But, with sled access to some very fun areas, I have had some very good days, snowkiting.
I've been Snowkiting the hills nw of blackfoot reservoir, and around tin cup pass, and even farmers fields.
And waterkiting Alexander, and Blackfoot Reservoir's.

Were did you kite?

Yeah we were in the nw of Blackfoot Reservoir area. The wind was cranking but it was so clean and predictable it made for an awesome day. We had 8" of fresh at Pebble Creek the day before, Hot springs and beers in Lava, and then Kiting down the road the following day. Pretty much the perfect get-out of the smog vacation for cheap.
