Strawberry 3/29 Chicken Creek West

Took a chance and got a small (1 hr) reward. Arrived to 10-12 mph. Jeff and I and Chris (visitor from Calif, here for last weeks big show), all rigged 12 M Frenzys. They headed for the hill and started flying. Jeff got his LONGEST hang time ever, only 10 feet up but stayed in the air 7-8 seconds. Watch out Jake, there is another fish in our small pond. I played in the valley, flirting with chicken creek . Be careful it's a creek now, most of the snow bridges are gone or falling in. I just missed dropping in, as one collapsed just after I went over it. Wind died to that teaser level of 6-8 mph. The new kites can make 10+ fun but 9- is still a challange. Best boys showed up and were going to built a kicker, we left as it looked like the fun was over. Lots of activity, a movie crew had taken over the area around chicken creek east. Hope to get it today, same place same time.
