I was in Vegas for business and was able to break free the last day. I rode Six Mile Cove on my 15M and 20m. Nice water, just wore a shorty air temp was 85. The was typical desert wind "GUSTY". That cove is tricky launch. Rush really is one of the best places to kite in the west. I rode a few reaches with Bucky.
On my way back I stopped at Yuba today (4/13/06) and its full to the top. No beaches any where. Windsurfing would have been great but no place to throw up a kite.
Same story at Mona. Full to brim and no place launch a kite.
Utah lake - Dido South Sandy has water backed up to roads. Rush is the only option for kites that I have found the year. Not a bad option all but its Rush or nothing.
