Rush - Tuesday 5/2 - 7.5 Sail, Big Board

What a trip back in time. Just to stand on the shore & remenisce was worth the trip. I was unable to spot any EMUs. How I miss Rush!! Sailed powered to overpowered on a 7.5 sail & big board from 2:00 to 4:00. Couldn't get going on my smaller board because the fin would stick in the mud when I stepped up on the board. Had to walk about 1/4 of the way out & could then sail about 2/3 of the way to the East shore. Wind seemed to build the whole time. Deepest water was thigh high. Used my most floaty board with the smallest weed fin I own. Steve Harrisson both sailed & kited. He used a 6.0 sail & small board & was well powered when I left about 5:00. Another kiter out getting good rides & big air but I don't know who it was. Found a kite pump on the beach which Steve Harrison took with him. If its yours give him a call :D Duane Karren
