11/20 Kenny's Where to Ride

Wind will nuke at Skyline today with snowfall. It may whiteout at times (or possibly altogether). The storm moving in is a big one, so the pre-frontal activity is exceptionally strong, wind will be super gusty. Check the UDOT cameras before heading out. Newbies - I don't recommend going today. More experienced riders - I would give it a 70 percent chance of being hateful up there due to nasty wind and snow. It depends somewhat on the timing of the snow. There is a good chance that it will start up this morning and go all day. If you decide to go, don't venture far from the road and take a 4-wheel drive vehicle as you may be driving home in a blizzard.

Sunday - looks like a whiteout, may be some clearing or a white room all day.

Monday - Snow begins to taper - may clear enough in the afternoon.

Is there anywhere else with any coverage yet and maybe less chance of white out?

No, there isn't much snow below 8,000 feet. Skyline is not a whiteout yet...

Nice forecasting Kenny.

Kenny said "70% chance of being hateful". Windzup's report: "Devil Winds".

Was up at Brighton this morning. The dense snow, graupel, and wind are combining to lay down a very nice base. This will be an epic winter.
