Heads up for the Banff Mountain Film festival... My brothers and I look forward to this every year as I know a number of you do from seeing you there... But if you haven't gone, this is one of the most amazing things to go to of the year... Videos from all over the world of everything from amazing extreme adventure, to extreme sports, to awesome short documentaries. One of my favorites was a video showing the everyday life of a couple of 80 year old French brothers, roommates, and Sheepherders high in the French mountains... Cameras set up around the house to record their actions... They'd watch the weather in the evenings on their small TV while eating dinner, then put the dishes directly back into the cupboards... No time to wash dishes! A lifetime living on the same sheep farm shaped their daily habits into a spectacle of wonder.
Feb 22,23,24 at Kingsbury Hall, University of Utah... Check the link below for details and ticket prices... This is WELL worth the time and money. The three nights are composed of DIFFERENT VIDEOS each night.

If nothing else, watch this clip which brought the house down last year.
Of course, Radical Reels a couple weeks later is more just extreme sports but well worth it! I'm still waiting to see a Snowkiting or Windsurfing winner in the tour! For that matter I'm not sure if there has even been a Kiteboarding movie in the World Tour?
