I would have to disagree with you on this one. The way I see it, any Rancher that has property with water on it, or near by,
probably considers it some of the most valuable property they own. And with Rush water, if they can get access to it, they don't have to pay anything for all the water they can use.
The Rancher can graze livestock on the property without hauling water to them, luckily we have not seen much livestock at our launch for many years now.
From the 3 property owners that I have talked to, most of the land right next to the water, seems to be in the same families that homesteaded the property.
I can get you the phone numbers if you want to make an offer, but I imagine it will be a futile call.
As far as the UWA,, why buy the cow, when the milk comes free.
I'm very confident that if we do eventually loose access on the west side, we will be able to rent access on the east side.
