Kiting in Yuba Reservoir

Hi guys, i was hoping for some tips or indicators for good wind at yuba. I'm quite familiar with the lake, cause I was raised a boater and i know its almost always windy there in the morning. What i'm wondering is what are some indicators i can look for to give me an idea of what it will be like in the morning? I've had one nice ride there last summer, but i think i just got lucky. It would be a good place for me to escape the summertime wind drought if i can figure out what to expect from the morning thermal. thanks!
