11/10 Punta De Mita, Mexico

Hola Amigi, Just got back from a week in Punta Mita (just north of Puerta Vallarta). We had really fun surfing everyday but only had one day of wind. It made it worthwhile carrying all the gear though. We got a relatively good deal on a condo right on the beach, which was inside a gated development. We were able to get to other beach accesses on the point. We had a great surf break right in front of the condo and where I kited was on the other side of the peninsula in a fancy beach club. The big rock outcropping in the pictures is actually a golf green where people hit across water to the island. When I was kiting I tried my best to stay away from it, so as not to upset the golfers and give kiters a bad name. It was a fun spot because it had smooth water on the inside and out past the rocks was open ocean with big rollers. The air temperature was in the mid 80's and the water was almost the same. I'd never been in water where you don't feel a thing when you first go in.
