Craig's Turkey Week Mohave Forecast

Postby Craig Goudie » Tue Nov 22, 2011 12:11 am

The good news is the Weather down in Laughlin will be low 70 (low 60s in Searchlight) from now
until this Sunday. The bad news is there won't be a lot of wind until Saturday.

Here's how it stacks up:
Tues: 8.5/16M North conditions at Kathrine's Landing (actually Cabin Site Cove) if you're lucky.
Weds: Same as Tuesday
Thur: no planable wind, not even for a huge Kite
Fri: same as Thursday
Sat: 5/10M North conditions all day at Kathrine's
Sun: 6/12M North conditions all day at Kathrine's

There doesn't appear to be any South wind in the extended forecast, so there's no reason to visit
6 mile cove, but if you are planning on camping there, I would recommend camping with at least
2 or more people and vehicles, after the recent murder, and what an on-site witness relayed to me.
