2/1 Kenny's Where to Ride

Gusty, pre-frontal south winds winds will be blowing today as a front approaches tonight. PowMow will have the strongest wind with wind in the twenties and much higher gusts. Expect mid to upper-teens at Skyline. Strawberry will have intermittent, light wind today. Best bet is the Marina or Ladders for rides - just remember there are no guarantees for wind at Strawberry on a south wind.

Thursday is shaping up to be a great day at Strawberry and Skyline with fresh snow and north clearing winds. Low to mid-teens at Stawberry and mid to upper-teens at Skyline. Get it while you can because... A strong high pressure is forecast to fill into the area for the weekend, killing the wind. I hope the forecast is wrong, but I thought you might want to be aware so that you can plan accordingly.

Friday - I hope there will be some lingering clearing winds at Skyline and Strawberry, stay tuned.
