2/4 Kenny's Where to Ride

Skyline is your best bet today for the Snowkite Masters. The forecast today is for light SE winds, but they are Easterly right now. Expect wind in the low-teens with a peak around 2 PM and then diminishing. Newbies, please be aware that this is a difficult direction for learning as the wind is light at the parking lot and kiters tend to get piled up with downed kites in the wind shadows. So, if you are looking for a good day to fly a trainer kite, it should be a good day. However, if you are itching to ride, just know that there are a lot better days for learning.

You might get some rides at Strawberry River today if you are patient and have a big kite/board combo.

Sunday the east winds continue, however, slightly lighter expect low-teens at best at Skyline

Monday is promising light winds at Skyline and PowMow.

noon update - winds have lightened up a lot at Skyline. If you have not left, I would not go if you want to ride. Weather will be perfect for suntanning and catching up with fellow riders.
