Rush thawed and full!!

Postby jason morton » Thu Mar 08, 2012 8:36 pm

Went for an after work drive and was surprised to see the lake has thawed, despite the abundance of snow still on the ground. It looks as full as it was last spring, if not more, and will come up more. Who will start the liquid season first? Jon M? Mark J? Jim H? Marty? Should be a great spring for kiters and windsurfers alike!!

I'm betting on Doug and Marty being the first to kite there this year.

I missed two days last week out there. Praying for wind on Sunday. Tuesday looks like it has a chance too.

I went scuba diving last week at Seabase and took a quick jaunt to the lake... yeah, up higher than I thought. When do the weeds come out?

Remind us all Marty about what we need to be careful of as far as diplomacy goes.

The high road we drive in on is very well used now,
and the fence posts now mark where NOT to go.

Before our annual meeting, I'll contact the land owner of the property we are rigging on, with a courtesy call.
We are by passing the other property, so I see no need to contact him. (Hunsaker)
