Pretty cool to get out at Deer Creek in March. (for me anyway, I know it's nothing for Jim). After riding the small kites at Rush for the last couple weeks, the 17 seemed so slow. Super stable though, steady as a rock in the air. Good wind for about an hour and a half then it let up. Kip was going out and it looked like it was picking back up when I left.

Good to see you guys up there at BWB. Downwind at DCCB the wind was not as strong as yesterday, though (initially at least) a bit steadier. The wind came up very gradually beginning at about 11 and was still not very impressive when I arrived at the beach at noon. Got a few rides on an 8.5, but after 15 minutes it had filled in enough that I had to go down to my 7.5.

When I showed up around 1:45 I was envious of Ralph for having caught the thermal early enough. So after slogging for 15 minutes or so I came in. But as he said the wind picked up for a few good hours as he was leaving. I was at deer creek on Tuesday this week and had similar gusty but fun conditions. Looking forward to all the wind tomorrow. Hope to see everyone at rush.
