Arrived at 9:00 - Ken getting rides on a 7.0 and 135L Bd. Time I got on the water it had gone very Westerly. Only 1 full length (S to N) planing reach. Then it was all schlogging and pivot jibes. That's a skunk. Wind reading from reservoir wind-meter was much higher (about 2X) than my personal windmeter when I did comparisons. Water is dropping and reservoir windmeter is probably 20 to 30' higher than lake. For whatever reason it was not touching down well on the lake. Also a 3 or 4 mile long cloud right over the lake, probably lenticular from mountains to west, that may have been causing air underneath to churn. It did go back more southerly when I was loading up but very flukey by then. The lenticular cloud also moved away when it went south. Not sure which was the chicken or the egg, ie did the south wind blow away the lenticular or did the lenticular move and let the south wind back in.
