The wind readings looked strong. It was a great 12 meter session taken some pictures at the end of the day when I was worn out. From the last 3 days of kiting this spring has been good so far.

The Lone Windsurfer Report (from Lincoln Beach)

Rigged 6.3m and 101 liter board.

Definitely the most work I have done in a long time to get on a plane.
I got pushed or flushed down to Sal Padre, which was a blessing in disguise.
It was about 2 feet deep and soft mud so the swell turns into long organized slightly break waves.

A bigger board and bigger fin could have made a difference, but you work with what ya got.

A great evening session and a ton of kiters out at Lincoln last night. My favorite part was watching how creative people got with the cheap wal-mart life jacket placement. Strapped to the board, hooked on their back, worn like a diaper. Even if you weren't a kiter you'd have been entertained by the fashion show!
