9.0, 7.0, 160L Formula Board Pelican Point

Craig's forecast was right on, just a little light.

Dana and I pulled up at 5:00. I rigged a 7.0 and Dana rigged his 9.0.

The 9.0 and the formula board was the ticket for about 2 hours. After that it picked up and the 7.0 on the formula board was ripping. It was my first time on the formula board and I was amazed at how much that thing wanted to go upwind. The most challenging part of sailing the board was making it go down wind!

We sailed from about 5:00 to 8:00 and left completely wiped out!
