6/30 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Sat Jun 30, 2012 8:32 am

Greetings from The Hood,

Bonus wind yesterday, proving yet again how little I know about weather. Today,
looks a lot like yesterday, so, I'm going with DC and Rush (and maybe Pineview). The DC predictor is up again, so I'm thinking 8/16 from 1 until 5, and maybe even 7/14 (Saxe might get a
ninth day in a row if he went yesterday). And, I'll probably
embarrass myself again by saying Rush will provide North wind in the 14M range on a North
around 4 PM (North wind didn't come up until 6PM yesterday).

Tomorrow, better South wind at DC (and Jordanelle) in the 7.5/14M range PM. Sulfur also showing
6M sail potential PM.

Monday, more planable Sulfur and Rush.

Craig, you are doing a great job! Don't be so hard on yourself. Last night on the news, with all of the fires, they were talking about the wind. The Fire Dept rep said they were watching the wind closely and that it would be 10-20 mph from the North, the weather man butted in seconds later and insisted (kind of douchey) that it would be calm from the Southeast.

They were both right of course...

And Brad was out yesterday, I look forward to seeing #9 today. Come on Brad, set an unbreakable record!
