Lincoln Beach - Monday 8-7-2012 - Windsup

Postby Josh Shirley » Tue Aug 07, 2012 10:09 am

I wanted to test out a couple SUP boards at Lincoln yesterday evening.
Paddling seemed to work well for the first hour waiting for the approaching wind line.
The water is bath tub warm and green.

Windsup'd with a 6.3 learning to catch the wind swell.

Whitecaps and carpet on the water for about an hour.

A few of us were getting the goods at SSB also. Everything from 12M to 17M. Light, but smooth and fun.

Josh- What kind of windsups are you testing? My new Fanatic surf SUP has a mast insert. I wanna go!

I have a demo fleet of Starboard Stand Ups. (temporarily)

Just trying to figure out what length's work well in the chop for windsup.

We should meet up on the next North day. I will bring a couple extra rigs.
