Lincoln 8-19

Last night I thought I saw wind coming down the valley so rallied out to Lincoln around 4 pm to dead calm. Went on an hour SUP journey, then sat around and watched the wind go from dead to 10 mph by 5, around 5:30 up to 14mph to took my 9 meter (the only kite I own now) out and slogged around till 6 when white caps kicked up and it was ON! Perfect 9 meter until 8 and the wind backed down as the sun backed down.

The crazy part of it all was I was ALL ALONE, not a single other kiter out there on a near perfect Lincoln evening. Check Meso Net, if you see any double digits around the airport, look for anything approaching 20 mph around the Point (Bluffdale), if that sets up, get ready, it's coming.
