9/12 Ut Lake Lincoln Beach 13m kite

So either there was a mandatory kite boarding meeting tonight that I wasn't aware of or they passed a law making kiting at Lincoln beach illegal! I got there at 5 to the best wind I've seen there. (I don't get down that way much!) Anyway, I was shocked to see nobody there. So I got a wind reading and set up my kite, just knowing that someone else would be there any minute. No such luck. I don't like self launching there but I couldn't pass up the wind so I did it anyway. There was a lull to begin with, then it filled back in and it was great fun. Luckily I had spectators the whole time.
