Utah Lake Provo Boat Harbor - 9/12/2012

Another day on the Formula board and 10m.
Sailed a couple miles upwind, about half way to Lindon Beach and headed back down.
The first 30 minutes or so is the hardest part of using big gear.
My feet and legs ache, then cramp up, pushing hard on the fin.
Soon that the leg pain disappears and the fight starts in my abs.

My downwind reaches were working well so I decided to head to South Sandy Beach.
The round trip took about 55 minutes. I think I can shave off 15 minutes with a little more commitment to the down wind reaches.

I stopped counting the number of fish I cut in half. At least 6 of them stopped me fast enough to throw me over the handle bars.
I was sure the my fin box was going to bust out of the board.

I think next time, if the wind is right, I will try making a Lincoln Beach run.
