First day out on my own, after lessons, with my new 2013 12m Rally.
Pulled in around 2pm. Not even a gust and glassy waters. Wind picked up around 3:30 and white capped around 3:45. Rode until the wind died down around 6:30.
I'd like to thank all those there that gave this guy some great pointers. Soon I'll be riding UPwind and won't have to run back on the shore...yay...
Not sure I caught or remember everyone's names. Feel free to post and RE-introduce yourself.

Mike, you got good attitude. Keep it up and you will be going up wind in no time.

Be careful with the water temperature though. Don't stay out too late by yourself. Mike Hill and I were a little worry when we saw your kite down that far out in the lake by 6 p.m.
See you again today!
Cheers,
Leo

Thankfully my wetsuit did it's job and cold wasn't much a concern when I was out there. I had a little tangle issue I had to sort out but was otherwise fine...growing pains...I'll get there soon enough.
